In a significant indicator of recovery from recessionary conditions in India, Major Newspaper Houses have reposed their faith in TPH with Major Orders
Orient X- Cel Press Commissioned at Tribune, Gurgaon
The new line of Orient X-Cel (36,000cph) of 546 mm. cutoff has been commissioned in April 2010 and is operating successfully.

This line comprises four 4 Hi Towers, one 2-Hi tower and one heavy duty Folder, with Brushmist Dampening, Motorization, Pneumatics and disc brakes on the Reel Stands. The configuration of this press, equipped with Automatic Registration system of QI Press Controls is:

RS+RS+ 2-HI+DU+4-Hi1+2;2F+4-HI2+ DU1+4-HI3+DU+ 4-HI4 + RS + 2X200 HP

The Gurgaon edition of the paper printed on this machine is a 24 pages broadsheet, with 16 pages in colour & rest in black & white.

This is the second Orient line for Tribune, their first being a press of Orient X-Cel (36,000 cph) at Chandigarh, capable of printing 12 pages all in colour.

Tribune is a leading & well respected Newspaper from North India with their headquarters at Chandigarh. In fact, it is one of the largest English daily in India with a readership of nearly 700,000.
Lokmat Orders New Orient Super Press for Latur

Lokmat,    Maharashtra leading Marathi daily, is the largest regional newspaper & overall fifth largest newspaper of India, with a readership of over 24 million.

Lokmat has placed their order for the eighth Orient press recently, to be installed at Latur. It is an Orient X-Cel (36,000cph) press of 546 mm. cutoff, equipped with Automatic Reel Changers, has the following configuration:

This press capable of printing 20 pages broadsheet, with 12 pages in colour & rest black & white, has all the automation features such as Brushmist Dampening, Pneumatics, Motorization, Pneumatic Disc Brakes on the reel stand etc.

The installation of the press is scheduled to take place in Nov. / Dec. this year.

This is a particularly presitigious order for TPH in view of the fact that Lokmat already has seven Orient Presses at their various press locations, the latest among them being at Nanded.

The configuration of Nanded press is the same as the one planned for Latur. That too is an Orient X-Cel press (36,000 cph) of 546 mm. cutoff, comprising 2 x 4-Hi+ 2xS/3CS + 1 x U + 1 x F + 2 x ARC

Sixteen Towers of Orient Super to Be Installed in Three Lines at Three Press Sites of Neutral Publishing House
Neutral Publishing House, Ranchi, one of the leading publishers of Eastern India are publishers of Prabhat Khabar newspaper, known for investigative journalism. They have placed an order for sixteen 4-Hi towers in three new Orient Super (30,000cph) Presses of 546 mm. cutoff, to be installed at their new printing centres in Bihar, namely Muzaffarpur, Jamshedpur and Bhagalpur.

Of these three presses, two (at Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur) shall be printing 20 pages all in colour and the one at Jamshedpur shall print 24 pages all in colour.

Configuration for the Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur machine is as follows:

RS + 4-HI + DU + 4-HI + 4-HI + DU + 2:2F + 4-HI + DU + 4-HI + DU + 2x150HP

Configuration for the Jamshedpur machine is as follows:

RS + 4-HI + DU + 4-HI + 4-HI + DU + 2:2F + 4-HI + DU + 4-HI + DU + 4-Hi + RS+ 2x175HP

All the three presses are equipped with automation features such as Brushmist Dampening, Pneumatics, Motorization, Pneumatic Disc Brakes on the reel stands etc. Also all these presses have Hardened and Ground bushes on the plate and blanket cylinder bores.
