TPH Makes Major Forays In Africa with New Orient Super Press (30,000 cph) Order in Uganda
 
Red Pepper Publications, Kampala, Uganda have placed an order for their second Orient press-line. The new press, an Orient Super of 578 mm. cutoff is configured as 2 x 4 - Hi + 1 x F, with automation features like brushmist, pneumatics, motorization etc. This press is expected to be up & running by second quarter of 2011.
 
TPH Makes Its Presence Felt in Sudan with An Orient Super Press (30,000 cph) Order From A State –Owned Newspaper Co.
 
Shaheed Osman Omer Printing Press, Khartoum, a 100% Govt. Owned Newspaper Company has confirmed an order for an Orient Super Machine of 578 mm. cutoff. This press comprising three 4-Hi towers, one mono unit, one ½ + ¼ folder equipped with all state-of-the-art features like brushmist, pneumatics and motorization is expected to go into commercial production by May - June, 2011.
 
Existing Customers in Mauritius and Bangladesh Continue to Repose Faith in TPH with Add-on Orders
 
Femi Publications, the owners of leading Mauritian daily, Le Defi have added-on a 4-Hi tower and a mono unit to their existing Orient Super press (30,000 cph) of 578 mm. cutoff. The augmented line is capable of printing a 40 –pager tabloid with 16 pages in colour & 24 in black & white.

Purbokone Ltd. continues to repose faith in TPH by ordering a 3-Hi tower to be added-on to their existing Orient press of 578 mm. cutoff. Purbokone’s decision to increase colour pagination to their newspaper – Dainik Purbokone was prompted by starting of Chittagong edition of Prothom Alo, the leading Bangla newspaper owned by Transcraft Group, another prestigious customer of TPH.

Commercial Production Begins at OAO “St. Petersburg Newspaper Complex”, St. Petersburg, Russia
 
This 578 mm. cutoff 30,000 cph Orient Super, state-of-the-art press is now the premier line of OAO "St.. Petersburg Newspaper Complex ", the second largest newspaper printing press in Russia. The new Orient press - line was formally inaugurated for commercial production at a colourful ceremony held on 28th Oct., 2010.

It was followed by a detailed presentation by us to the high profile audience comprising several top officials of the “St. Petersburg Newspaper Complex” group newspaper companies like Komsomolskaya Pravda, Soviet Sport, Vedomosti, SPb Times etc.

The phenomenal success of this press has created quite a buzz in the Russian market and we are quite hopeful of bagging more orders there by piggybacking on it.
